| The most common Prozac
side effect is anxiety or nervousness. Some other more
common Prozac side effects are tiredness or weakness, trouble
in sleeping, decreased appetite, increased sweating, diarrhea,
nausea, drowsiness, headache, trembling or shaking.
Less common or rare Prozac side effects could be:
Dryness of mouth, increased appetite, change in sense of taste,
changes in vision, constipation, dizziness or lightheadedness,
feeling of warmth or heat, flushing or redness of skin (especially
on face and neck), frequent urination, hair loss, increased
sensitivity of skin to sunlight, menstrual pain, abnormal dreams,
stomach cramps (gas or pain), chest pain, weight loss, yawning.
After you stop taking Prozac, your body may
need time to adjust. The length of time depends on the amount
of Prozac you were using and how long you used it. During this
period of time, check with your doctor if you notice any of
the following side effects of Prozac:
* General feeling of discomfort or illness,
dizziness, headache, nausea, anxiety-sweating, feeling that
body or surroundings are turning, unusual weakness or tiredness.
Other Prozac side effects (fluoxetine side effects) not listed
above may also occur in some patients. If you notice any other
Paxil side effect, please check with your doctor.
